Sotto la strada, la spiaggia

La Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo e VICTORIA – the Art of being Contemporary di Mosca presentano Sotto la strada, la Spiaggia, la mostra conclusiva della sesta edizione del programma di Residenze per Giovani Curatori, a cura di Benoit Antille (Sierre, Svizzera, 1975), Michele Fiedler (Santurce, Porto Rico 1981), Andrey Parshikov (Mosca, Russia, 1985). La mostra sarà allestita per la prima volta nella sede di Torino della Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
Ispirandosi a uno slogan del Maggio francese del 1968 – “Sous les pavés, la plage” [Sotto la Strada, la Spiaggia] – la mostra sottolinea l’importanza di compiere gesti e occupare posizioni che ridefiniscano le relazioni degli spettatori con la realtà.

The Foundation Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and VICTORIA – the Art of being Contemporary of Moscow, present Sotto la strada, la Spiaggia [Under the road, the Beach], the final exhibition of the sixth edition of the Residency program for Young Curators, curated by Benoit Antille (Sierre, Switzerland, 1975), Michael Fiedler (Santurce, Puerto Rico 1981) and Andrey Parshikov (Moscow, Russia, 1985). The exhibition will take place, for the first time, in Turin at the spaces of the Foundation Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
Inspired from a slogan during the riots of the French May, 1968 – “Sous les Pavés, la plage” [On the Road, the Beach] – the exhibition emphasizes on the importance of making gestures and occupying positions that redefine the relationships between the spectators and the reality.
