To Know, to dare, to will, to keep silence
Da sempre l’uomo è affascinato dalle società segrete e i loro riti clandestini, dalle cerchie ristrette e dall’esclusività dei suoi soci (vi viene forse in mente un altro piccolo e blindato mondo?). Il carattere delle società segrete va da innoque confraternite a potenti associazioni con obiettivi tutt’altro che altruistici. Alta finanza, potere politico, lobby… insomma, società segrete a tutto tondo. Questa è una mostra – ospitata alla Schirn Kunsthalle di Francoforte – che vorrei vedere per scoprire come gli artisti contemporanei traducono la loro visione di ‘società segreta’ specchio di alcuni aspetti dell’arte di oggi. Labirintica, imprevedibile (almeno sulla carta e dalle immagini che ho recuperato), questa mostra ha l’ambizione di svelare (o potenziare) simboli, segreti, sigilli, strutture impenetrabili.. gerarchie cospirative. Citano Massoneria, i Rosacroce, gli Illuminati, la mafia, al Ku Klux Klan, Al-Qaeda ecc.
Tra i tanti nomi stranieri, anche un italiano.
Luca Vitano con “Souvenir d’Italie (Fondamenti della Seconda Repubblica)” (2010). Vitone espone tutti i 959 membri della P2, organizzazione segreta che ha progettato un colpo di stato in Italia nel 1970. Silvio Berlusconi, attuale primo ministro, era uno dei membri.
