180 the Strand

9 Sept 2016 – 4 Dec 2016
Ten immersive audio visual installations, including holographic illusions, multi-screen installations and 3D projections, installed into the brutalist building on London’s Strand, allow us to explore diverse and kaleidoscopic imageries: from the adventures of the Japanese dancer called Bom Bom, who travel to Jamaica to partecipate in the local dancehall music scene, to John Giorno rhythmic and humorous monologue and to Elizabeth Price’s dynamic fusion of image, text and music, we are transported into a vivid pop atmosphere. These artworks are created by acclaimed international artists, including Martin Creed (UK), Jeremy Deller (UK) and Cecilia Bengolea (Argentina), Stan Douglas (Canada), Cyprien Gaillard (France), Ugo Rondinone (Switzerland) are being shown in the UK for the first time.

In One’s Own Time
An exhibition proposed by Constantin Thun, Emalin
San Giuseppe delle Scalze, Napoli
10 – 17 July 2016

Emalin is pleased to announce in one’s own time, a group show proposed by Constantin Thun with works by Adelhyd van Bender, Andre? Cadere, I.N. Cape, Rob Chavasse, Leidy Churchman, Cosimo Fanzago, Heike-Karin Fo?ll, Sofia Ginevra Gianni, Jack Goldstein, Delia Gonzalez, Isabel Lewis, Maria Loboda, Matmos, Shahryar Nashat, Walter Pichler, Augustas Serapinas, Hannah Weinberger, Richard Wentworth, Holger Wu?st, Cerith Wyn Evans, and a library by BeckBooks.
