Jack Fisher —

A practice fundamentally set in arranging things and images, accepting the integration and inseparation between online and off.
Looking at how alternative forms of exchange within a magnitude of realities, when our non-renewable energy resources are finite, material no longer seems to matter. Everything and nothing is pointless. You see the system, then refuse it. If you fall down 7 times, get up 8. Separating the idea from the artist’s mind and body entirely; no longer burdened by the baggage of flesh. Allowing transparency, enables things to be seen for what they truly are.

I see the importance of the Sun’s power in terms of realising a sustainable global energy solution for all, the driving spearhead of anything i do. I think that it’s insane that the sun gives us 6,000 times our global daily energy consumption; and we fight over money, oil and religion. I imagine the world that my daughter will walk in and find myself drifting into a reality inspired by the influx of dystopian science(non)fiction cinema. Instead trying to let the action of nurturing goodness, putting yourself in a situation where you can be inspired to do something good, watching a seed blossom and the time between. In a reality of constant accumulation, the idea of any post-western society flourishing; has become barren.

Imagining how it might be possible to even comprehend building a new framework to review the current position and move forward; a just whey to spread the torrents of need and support. Become a sponge for information, knowledge and opportunity.

Letizia Scarpello —
